Mechaninc in the organic!

This is a logo I designed for my short animation team. We decided on the name and tagline together and the whole group was involved in brainstorming logo ideas. I then drew this logo based on the themes and elements we wanted to represent.

These are some colour and line tests, at this stage I was considering making the o in works into a gear. I later decided this would be too much.

This is a moodboard I compiled to explain how I wanted the logo to feel. It mainly depicts the relationship between organic things, like weather, and machinery.
